Creepy Cinema Classics in Charlotte

Everyone has their own favorite horror or holiday movie to watch on Halloween, whether it reflects some of their deepest fears, it holds a lot of humor that doesn’t lose its steam – intentional or otherwise, or if it has some sort of nostalgic connection to them. True, you can easily watch the horror classics from our luxury apartments at Alexan Optimist Park, but we also have a great opportunity in the neighborhood to see films in their original, fullscreen glory.

Every weekend, from September 20th all the way to Halloween night, the Ayrsley Grand Cinemas feature its Retro Horror 2019 Series. Twelve cinematic classics will cycle throughout the month of October, including horror favorites such as Child’s Play and Day of the Dead, or cult classics like Halloween III: Season of the Witch or Stephen King’s Creepshow. Each showing is only five dollars to attend and you get all the superior amenities that every Ayrsley Theater can offer, including delicious popcorn, candy, drinks, and other tasty treats, or their comfortable leather seating. Want to watch something new instead? New Halloween appropriate films are still on the big screen, such as IT: Chapter Two, the Addams Family, and Joker, and their tickets only cost $6-$10, depending on the time of your showing. Best of all, there are discounts for kids, military, large groups, and early showings on the weekends. The closest Ayrsley Grand Cinema is only twelve miles away, a mere twenty-minute drive through Charlotte.
